PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Marcus is a 16-year-old with a wide range of interests, including playing sports and spending time outdoors.
He likes to play football and wants to enter the esports world. You will also find him riding his skateboard, playing video games, listening to heavy metal and watching some of his favorite horror flicks.
"I like to watch horror movies, anything that connects to Stephen King," he said.
The outdoors is where he finds the most peace.
The 11th-grader loves interacting with nature — as long as the spiders stay away. He's not a fan of arachnids ever since a tarantula scared him at a pet store when he was younger.
Marcus knows what makes him tick, and he thrives to be the best he can be, even when those around him are not.
"I like to help people out a lot," he said. "I'm funny, and I like being nice to people. Even if they're rude to me, I'm nice to them back."
Marcus is looking for a supportive family who will help guide and love him.
