It was close to 7 p.m. on Monday when Pennsylvania State Police said a road crew was setting up a new traffic pattern in a work zone in the eastbound lanes on Route 30 in Valley Township, just west of Coatesville.
That's when police say a truck suddenly struck four cars and two construction workers.
The pair was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No word yet on any possible charges against the truck driver.
