It was a chaotic scene in one neighborhood just north of downtown Wilmington Thursday afternoon.
Officials say it was shortly before 1 p.m. when the driver of an SUV slammed into another vehicle near East 23rd and North Market Streets.
The vehicle overturned and the driver of that vehicle was transported to the hospital with injuries.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
