Blue lights, ribbons and clothes light up procession for fallen Berks County officer

A procession was held Monday night for a Berks County police officer who was killed in the line of duty. Officer Kristen Yeager was killed in a car crash Friday night in Earl Township. That procession traveled from Reading Hospital through West Reading and finally ended at the funeral home in Mount Penn. Members of local fire departments and emergency service agencies lined the route while businesses and residents turned on blue lights, displayed blue ribbons, and wore blue clothing in honor of Officer Yeager.
