We'll learn more today about the head-on crash that killed two fire chiefs in Berks County. The Berks County District Attorney's Office plans to hold a press conference at 11 a.m.
Prosecutors say 26-year-old Alexander Rivera, of New York City, had marijuana and a crack pipe in his car when he was arrested. They say he told police he fell asleep at the wheel. Witnesses say they saw Rivera's car "weaving back and forth" before it struck the fire chiefs' utility vehicle.
On Monday, firefighters from Berks and surrounding counties honored the fire chiefs as their bodies were transported to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
