Man shot after 4 armed men steal his cousin’s Rolex in North Philly

Authorities say a man was shot while trying to ward off armed men who stole his cousin's Rolex in North Philadelphia early Sunday morning. It was after 2 a.m. that officers found the 25-year-old man shot in the leg across the street from Triumph Baptist Church along Germantown and West Hunting Park avenues in Nicetown. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Police say the victim's cousin was approached by four armed men who took the $25,000 watch. The 25-year-old was then shot after drawing his gun when another man pointed a handgun at him. Officials say the suspects fled the scene, heading towards Juniata Street, and are still on the loose.
