Officials say insect killer spill was source of evacuation at Deptford Walmart

We’re learning more about what prompted an evacuation of a Walmart in Deptford on Tuesday. The Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management says a can of insect killer fell, landed under the shelf and sprayed until it emptied. There was no evidence of malicious intent. The store was evacuated, and numerous people were taken for treatment and evaluation at nearby hospitals. No serious injuries were reported.
