Paoli Hospital is in line for a major expansion. The plans include a new five-story building with 108 inpatient beds, a floor dedicated to imaging and perinatal testing, and a heliport for trauma transport.
Main Line Health says it's "investing in this region's future" with the project at the hospital in Chester County.
It's expected to open before the end of the decade.
