Scam alert in Delaware: Texts claim to be from Justice of the Peace Court

Delaware State Police say they've received multiple reports of a text message scam. The message, they say, claims to be from the state's Justice of the Peace Court and includes a graphic with a court date and a QR code to settle unpaid balances for traffic violations. Authorities say if you receive a text like that, do not click on any links or scan any QR codes. Instead, report it as junk and delete it.
