As a former foster youth herself, Dr. Danisha Keating has devoted her life to helping foster children through higher education. She’s written a memoir called “From Foster to PhD: Letters from a Suitcase,” and has a documentary coming out later this year. She shares her story and tells us how we can support current foster children in our community, even if we aren't foster parents ourselves.
