The family of Kenny Rogers announced Saturday morning that he passed away Friday evening at the age of 81. The singer reportedly died peacefully from natural causes.
"In a career that spanned more than six decades, Kenny Rogers left an indelible mark on the history of American music," a statement from the family reads. "His songs have endeared music lovers and touched the lives of millions around the world."
