The King of Toronto is receiving his flowers while he can. Drake is slated to receive the Artist of the Decade title at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.

As one of the biggest superstars in rap right now, Drake has the most Billboard Music Awards (27) and snagged that feat after a sweep back in 2019. He took home 12 awards in one night. The category ranks top-performing artists based on "activity on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, the Billboard 200 albums, social media data, and touring revenue from Billboard Boxscore between December 5, 2009 and September 28, 2019."
According to a press release, for the 2010s, Drake has nine No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 (the most of the decade of any artist), 33 top 10s on the Billboard Hot 100 (the most of the decade of any artist), six No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, 18 No. 1s on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs (the most of the decade of any artist), 69 top 10s on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs (the most of the decade of any artist), and 10 No. 1 albums on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums.
