The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, which to us on this side of globe is the Dutch police agency, shared a social media post on Saturday night stating that the 41-year-old American woman who was arrested on suspicion of exporting soft drugs was fined and released from custody after officials consulted with local prosecutors. The amount of the fine was not provided.

While the post didn’t mention Minaj by name, the rapper documented and posted portions of her interaction with the police, insinuating that the incident was an attempt to sabotage her ongoing world tour. “They’re being paid big money to try to sabotage my tour b/c soooooo many ppl are mad that it’s this successful & they can’t eat off me,” she shared on X while the debacle was going down.

Nicki continued to go off, claiming the saboteurs to be “fired management,” and pointing out that this was all going down in Amsterdam “where weed is legal. Before claiming that marijuana belonged to one of her security guards, who had taken responsibility, acknowledging so to the police.

Following her release, Nicki followed up with a lengthy statement in which she noted that she sat in “a jail cell for 5-6 hours,” and that due to her time in custody, she was forced to postpone her show. “So they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight,” she wrote. “I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them & posting everything in real time. I have sooooooooo much video evidence. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. I’ll have the lawyers & GOD take it from here tho.” Minaj also promised to rescheduled the Manchester performance, with details arriving as soon as tomorrow.

Two days later, after deliberating make-up dates, Nicki confirmed that the only available date for the rescheduled Manchester tour date would be “June 3rd.”
