In his message, Brad noted that he didn't want to string Rage Against The Machine fans along who have been waiting patiently on make-up dates for the band's previously canceled shows in 2022.

"I know a lot of people are waiting for us to announce new tour dates for all the canceled RATM shows,” he writes. “I don’t want to string people or myself along any further. So while there has been some communication that this may be happening in the future… I want to let you know that RATM (Tim, Zack, Tom and I) will not be touring or playing live again. I’m sorry for those of you who have been waiting for this to happen. I really wish it was…”

"Bottom of my heart.. Thank you to every person who has ever supported us," Wilk captioned the post.

After announcing a reunion in the fall of 2019, the band's 2020 dates were postponed until the summer of 2022. Frontman Zack De la Rocha suffered a serious leg injury during their second show back, which led to more canceled dates. RATM last performed at Madison Square Garden in August of 2022.
