Calvin came to us from the shelter as a stray. We believe based on his personality that he is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, maybe mixed with a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Calvin is about 10 months old and still working on his leash and housetraining skills. Calvin is a typical retriever, he loves the water! He gets along with other dogs and has no interest in cats, even when they hissed at him. He was more interested in "vacuuming" the loose food off the ground.
He currently weighs 52 lbs. and we don't really expect him to get much bigger. Calvin is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and he tested negative for heartworms. The Jefferson SPCA will also offer continued training to his new family to help him become a happy member of his furever family. Are you that special person?
