When Evie came to Northshore Humane Society, her family could no longer care for her. She was losing weight, not eating well, and having accidents outside the litter box. After further testing, they discovered the cause - Evie has diabetes that had gone untreated.
Evie is an incredibly sweet, affectionate kitty who deserves to recover in the comfort of a home, not in a shelter. With twice-daily insulin injections and a loving home, Evie can feel so much better and live a happy life. We'll provide everything she needs, including her insulin and medical care. All she needs is someone willing to give her a safe, quiet place to heal and lots of love.
