Hinkle is a five-year-old Catahoula and Australian Shepherd mix, a beautiful blend confirmed by her DNA test. Her merle coat is stunning, and her piercing blue spotted eye will stop you in your tracks BUT behind that striking look is a heart full of love and longing. Hinkle is playful, full of energy, and loves nothing more than running in the yard or squeaking her favorite toys. Hinkle adores people of all shapes and sizes. She steels the hearts of our summer campers with her sweet and goofy personality.
Hinkle can be reactive to other dogs in the shelter setting, so we believe she would thrive as the only dog, or possibly with a calm, well-matched companion. When it comes to humans, she gives her whole heart.
