After being hit by a car in October, Scotty came to us with two broken legs and a long road of surgeries and rehab ahead of him. Thanks to an incredible foster placement with Melissa, RVT, CCRP, CHT-V at Resurge, he was given the time, care, and love he needed to heal. Scotty is such a sweet, loving dog. He loves being snuggled and swaddled in blankets at bedtime, and you will absolutely get the side eye if you forget. That boy LIVES for car rides. I had to change my morning routine and sneak out of the house to avoid a full pitty-party meltdown. He is an excellent backseat driver.
Scotty does need someone special—an adopter who understands his condition and is comfortable managing ongoing medications and special care. He is fully mobile, can run around and enjoy life, but he is still a bit stiff and has a silly, endearing walk that comes with his healing journey.
