Forget beach body envy. This summer is all about beach chair envy.
People are spending more time outside and not sharing their chairs in our pandemic plagued world so….beach chairs are flying off the shelves and now they're predicting there may be a shortage. Lots of them are out of stock and the prices are jacked up due to demand from people trying to socially distance in parks, backyards and beaches. One woman from Brooklyn said she had to pay about 90 bucks for one, another person from Long Island said he was offered 500 dollars for a chair at his beach club.
Problem was, he didn't have one. People are getting desperate.
