Today, they talked with a guy who embodies all three — Boston’s own George Carroll, better known as Slaine. You’ve seen him in movies like The Town and Gone Baby Gone, but his impact goes way beyond the big screen. After overcoming addiction himself, Slaine is now helping others find hope and healing through Charles River Recovery and Grand Rising Behavioral Health — two programs dedicated to substance use and mental health recovery.
He has a new album coming out Friday called “A New State of Grace" and a new movie coming out Nov 14th called “King Ivory.”
He stars in The Running Man which comes out Nov 14th.
