What happened this week was absolutely shocking. No one has seen it before, and there is, frankly, no explanation for it.
Yeah, that too. But we're talking about the llama. Newburyport/West Newbury Animal Control stumbled across a real-life llama, just strolling around a field off of Hale Street on Monday.
The South American native was just standing around, not causing any trouble. But animal control had to rope the high-velocity spitter (they can spit up to 15 feet away!) and brought him to Tiny Acres Farm in Newton, New Hampshire until they find it's rightful owner.
So, if there are any owners of a llama in the Massachusetts or New Hampshire area, I would check your yard. If you don't see them, we might have an idea where they are.
