The picturesque pooch you see above is an adorable male black lab that is serving as a comfort dog for the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. Only one issue. He doesn't have a name.
Tough to get comfort from a nameless dog, eh? Well... they want to change that!
Now through April 3rd they are accepting submissions online to name this adorable little nugget! You can submit by clicking here and make sure you put "Puppy Naming Contest" in the form.
Comfort dogs are a huge help to those in the aftermath of a traumatic situation, as we've seen time and again. The dog is a first for the D.A.'s office and they hope he'll bring warmth to those who need to feel a little extra love.
