Celebrating his 60th birthday on Monday (December 18), the actor received a playful message from Twain referring to the lyrics from her 1997 hit song, "That Don't Impress Me Much,” where she playfully mentions the hunky actor’s lack of impression on her.
Twain took to social media, commenting on a birthday tribute posted by PEOPLE magazine, where she wrote "...that don't impress me much, but HBD,” with a kissy face emoji. Tough crowd!
2023 marked 25 years since the release of the song, and in March, Twain revealed she’d still never met the actor… maybe that’s why she remains unimpressed. During an interview on Chicken Shop Date series, Twain joked that it’s starting to feel a bit personal.
“I think he’s avoiding me, honestly,” Twain joked with journalist, comedian and series host, Amelia Dimoldenberg.
