When your mom is from The Dot, what do you get her?
That was the question that Arlington-born television meteorologist Maureen McCann was posed with. She's down in Central Florida on Central Florida News 13, but she still knows her roots - and more importantly her mom's Dorchester roots.
So she did what any good daughter would do. She baked her mom a cake. Not just any cake though. She made a cake that is the spitting image of the Expressway gas tank known as "The Rainbow Swash", a piece of artwork by Corita Kent that, believe it or not, is the largest copyrighted work of art in the world.
While we don't know if she asked permission for the carbon cake copy, the evidence is gone now - eaten up in a jif we'd think. Did you see anything? We saw nothin'.
