Amy Brooks

Growing up locally as a music fan and a Red Sox, Patriots, C’s and B’s fan, Amy feels a true connection to Boston in every way and has a profound sense of pride and fulfillment to be a part of Magic 106.7. Amy has been on the air in Boston for 32 years at other heritage stations like WZLX, WBCN, Mix 104.1 and even Smooth Jazz, however, most of Amy’s career was spent as the midday host at 92.9 WBOS.

With a true passion and understanding of daily life in New England; Amy loves the outdoors even in the snow and cold and spends her winters skiing, hiking and going on walks with her dog. But Amy’s true love is the Cape in any season, especially Nauset Beach, after spending many years there with her family and friends.

When Amy isn’t on the air at Magic, she emcees for charity organizations is a voice over artist (Patriots pre season football as well as WCVB’s Patriots All Access) and produces 4 different rare disease podcasts. But her true joy is playing her favorite music, talking about topics close to home and connecting with you on Magic.

Amy lives with her 2 daughters, (one in college and one about to be), her 3 rescue cats and her 95 lb Bernese Mountain Dog, Gracie. Amy cant seem to break her expensive Starbucks habit, and she always has crusty bread, avocados, cheese and mint chocolate chip ice cream in the house. She has never missed an episode of Chronicle and her favorite series are Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Shrinking and All Creatures Great and Small. In fact she and her girls love all animals so much that they save spiders and put mice outside. She’s a game show junkie, a musical theater fan and loves to watch and play just about any sport…she swims, plays tennis, golf and pickleball and was a D1 soccer athlete at UNH in the late 80’s. Amy’sgoals are to travel, read more and find the best fish taco in the commonwealth. But above all she says, “there's nothing better than seeing live music”. You can hear Amy on Magic every weekend!
