In an unsettling moment for the Red Sox, Christian Arroyo was forced to leave Sunday's game after injuring his knee in a collision with center fielder Enrique Hernandez.
Arroyo's right knee collided with Hernandez while chasing down Hunter Dozier's fourth-inning bloop in center. The second baseman writhed on the ground in pain while waiting for the Red Sox' training staff and manager Alex Cora.
Arroyo did walk off the field with assistance of trainer Brandon Henry, although doing so with a significant limp.

UPDATE: After the Red Sox' loss, Cora offered an update regarding Arroyo ...
"Christian, he is sore," the manager said. "It's right below the patella, so he'll be sore for a little bit. Nothing structural, he had X-rays, everything is good. They checked, you know, they moved his knee around. It seems like he'll be okay, obviously. Let's see how it goes on the plane and when we get to Tampa."
