Dont'a Hightower can't get enough of rookie Marcus Jones' all-around game vs. Cardinals

Marcus Jones might just have established himself as one of the New England Patriots' best players in a complete performance during his team's Monday night win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Patriots legend Dont'a Hightower is apparently a pretty big fan.

The former New England linebacker quote-tweeted The Athletic's Jeff Howe's breakdown of Jones' stat line through the first three quarters with the old Gladiator line, "Are you not entertained?"

We are indeed, Dont'a.

Plus, the stats didn't even tell the whole story.

Jones' first offensive touch of the game featured a stiff-arm that would've made Marshawn Lynch proud, putting linebacker Ben Niemann (who outweighs Jones by about 60 pounds) in the turf.

At one point, he blanketed All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins down the field on a deep throw, running stride for stride with one of the best receivers in football.

Later in the game, he laid the boom on Trey McBride after a catch, blasting the 249-pound tight end into the air for a big hit that had McBride shaken up. You don't expect to see that kind of play from a 5-foot-8, 175-pound cornerback too often.

Jones admitted after the game that the "fatigue is real" following his three-phase effort -- something you typically don't see in the NFL. But the uber-versatile cornerback's contributions are quickly making him a player to watch every time he's on the field.
