Draymond Green chided CJ McCollum after he picked the Celtics to beat Warriors

Draymond Green put up a Game 3 stat line of 2 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 fouls. While he admittedly played like "s—," the Warriors' overrated instigator is still seemingly confident in his ability to bounce back.

Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes outlined a post-game conversation Thursday between Green and Pelicans guard CJ McCollum, who's signed on as a player-analyst for ESPN (Green has a similar deal with TNT). McCollum told Green he picked the Celtics in the series.

"I've got to tell you this. I picked Boston to win Game 3, I picked you guys to win Game 4. But ultimately, I've got the Celtics winning the Finals," McCollum told Green. "I just want you to hear it from me first before you hear me say it on TV."

Green responded with a retort that indicates he still doesn't see the Celtics as a threat. "That's fine," Green told McCollum. "Those Celtics will still be ringless just like you. Respect."

It's important to note that Green and McCollum are friends. Green told Haynes he thinks McCollum is "incredible" and respects his work.

Conversely, McCollum acknowledged Green delivered a "good a— comeback."

But in terms of the series, Green's response on the court matters much more than witty one-liners. He's averaging just 5 points per game, and recorded 7 podcast episodes.

That's not a championship kind of ratio.
