As was the case so many nights during his playing career with the Red Sox, Manny Ramirez made his presence felt at Fenway Park Monday night.

After throwing out the first pitch before the Sox' game against the Tigers, Ramirez joined Will Flemming and Joe Castiglione in the Red Sox Network broadcast booth ... and he delivered.

Ramirez talked about a variety of subjects, both past and present.

"Man, 2004 was the best moment of my life."

"(Rafael Devers) reminds me of David Ortiz. He can hit the ball all over the place with power. And he has gotten better at third base. You know another guy I really like is Verdugo. I have his chain. Yes, I really like him. The thing I like about him is you see him at the plate, the way he plays, he is so relaxed. He is in control of the moment. I like his swag, the way he plays the game."

"I have to do this more often."

"David was the best left-handed hitter I have ever seen."

And his walk-off, "You like my chain?"
