Mookie Betts just got married to his high school sweetheart with teammates in attendance

Mookie Betts is now a married man. The All-Star outfielder got married this week to his high school sweetheart, whom he’s been dating for 15 years.

For comparison’s sake, my longest relationship was six months.

Betts tied the knot with fiancée Brianna Hammonds on Wednesday in an oceanside ceremony in Racho Palos Verdes, Calif. Their daughter, Kynlee, was in attendance for the big day.

Betts, 29, wore a sharp hunter green tux with black bowtie and matching loafers.

There were several Dodgers in attendance, including Justin Turner, Chris Taylor, Joe Kelly, Kenley Jansen, according to TMZ. Rapper Nelly and Heisman winner Eddie George attended the festivities as well.

Kelly’s presence is especially notable, since he played with Betts in Boston.

Betts’ 20s have been very good to him. He’s won two World Series, an MVP, inked a $365 million contract, and now, got married to his longtime love.

My 29th birthday is later this month. I have a lot of catching up to do.
