While certainly not as big as some of the other moves the Patriots made Monday, they are keeping at least one of their own free agents.
According to multiple reports, defensive end Deatrich Wise has agreed to return to New England.
Wise played mostly on the outside rushing the passer, but at times this past season shifted inside.
The 26-year-old is coming off a season where he totaled 49 tackles, the most of his career. He also added 2.5 sacks.
Brining Wise back won't preclude them from doing anything else with the front-seven, but should be viewed as a nice depth signing.
