The Patriots could be losing a veteran member of their secondary.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, cornerback Jason McCourty is visiting the Giants as a free agent.
The 33-year-old has spent the last three seasons with the Patriots playing with his twin brother Devin.
“I just want to be somewhere I’m wanted and (have) an opportunity to compete and help the guys around me," Jason said earlier this offseason. "As an older player now, I really look forward and love being able to mentor the younger guys and be able to kind of help them grow, as well as going out there competing and trying to win games."
The report also notes McCourty has a home in New Jersey, so he wouldn't need to move.
