the greg hill show: Charlie Weis joins, says there's no way Bill wants to hang it up yet
With reporting on a potential parting of ways between Bill Belichick and the Patriots is seemingly coming out in droves these days, the team still has one interior focus: The Jets.
New England hit the practice field on Thursday for their penultimate session of the season, with only one hardly notable absence. Here’s what stood out:
Attendance:
Absent:
OT Trent Brown
IR:
CB Marcus Jones
DL Daniel Ekuale
CB Christian Gonzalez
LB Matthew Judon
OT Riley Reiff
OT Tyrone Wheatley Jr.
OT Calvin Anderson
WR Kendrick Bourne
OL Cole Strange
OT Conor McDermott
RB Rhamondre Stevenson
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster
Other Notes:
- Trent Brown was once again absent from practice on Thursday. He's officially listed on the injury report with an illness and with only one practice to go and the tackle being a healthy scratch last week in Buffalo, it's hard to imagine he'll return to the team. His season is likely over.
- Cornerback Myles Bryant, who missed Wednesday's practice with an illness, returned to the field on Thursday.
