NFL Playoff races can make some super strange bedfellows, and in the NFL’s first-ever Week 18, that includes…the Patriots and Jets?
That’s right: perhaps the nastiest rivalry in the AFC East is the friendliest on Sunday, as the math is simple: the Pats need to beat Miami and have the Jets beat Buffalo to win the AFC East. And so, likely with a lump in their throat, the Pats social media team posted this on their Twitter this morning:
Gang Green’s response?
It won’t be easy, given that the Jets are missing some playmakers and already lost to the Bills 45-17 earlier this season, but one can hope, right?
Whether it’s Pats or Bills, the AFC East winner will be either the No. 3 or No. 4 seed in the AFC, pending the winner’s identity and the result of the Cleveland-Cincinnati game.
