6 rings: Wednesday stat day: A look at the numbers that tell the story of the Patriots 20-17 loss to the Commanders

Following Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Washington Commanders, the Patriots made a small roster change, re-signing wide receiver T.J. Luther to their practice squad.

The major roster change? J.C. Jackson will not be traveling to Germany with the team due to "questions about reliability". The cornerback was reportedly late to the team's hotel last weekend ahead of their game against the Commanders, leading to his benching to start the contest.

As I'm sure you're all well aware, New England, without Jackson, is headed to Frankfurt on Thursday for their Week 10 matchup versus the Colts. Prior to traveling, however, they have two practices in Foxborough. Here’s what stood out at the first one:

Attendance:

Absent:
CB J.C. Jackson
OT Trent Brown

IR:
CB Marcus Jones
DL Daniel Ekuale
CB Christian Gonzalez
LB Matthew Judon
OT Riley Reiff
OT Tyrone Wheatley Jr.
WR Kendrick Bourne
OT Calvin Anderson

Other Notes:

- Jack Jones, who was also reportedly missed curfew at the Patriots' hotel on Saturday, was present at practice.

- DeVante Parker was wearing a red non-contact jersey as he recovers from a concussion he suffered in Week 8 vs. the Dolphins.

- T.J. Luther, back on the practice squad, was at the session rocking jersey No. 82.
