The low point for the Red Sox came Tuesday, when Xander Bogaerts was removed early in their 8-5 loss to the Rays. The Red Sox are one of only six teams below the 85% vaccination threshold.

Hirokazu Sawamura, Martin Perez, Matt Barnes, Enrique Hernandez and Christian Arroyo have also tested positive.

Munoz is batting .091 in five games with the Red Sox this season.
