The records keep piling up for Tom Brady.
Tuesday Fanatics -- the NFL’s official e-commerce partner -- announced that the quarterback's jersey become the best-selling such item sold over the two-week period between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl.
The Tampa area has bought the most Brady jerseys, with New York, Orlando, Boston and Miami following behind.
“We are seeing record-breaking sales from Tom,” Jack Boyle, Fanatics’ co-president of consumer retail, for Fanatics told The New York Post. Boyle added, "It’s a phenomenon we have never seen before."
Fanatics reports that the sales of Brady jerseys are more than double what transpired following his last trip to the Super Bowl two years earlier. Brady's jersey led all NFL sales for Fanatics from Aug. 1 until Nov. 1.
Brady’s black Buccaneers’ jersey, which sells for $120 a pop for men, was out of stock on on Fanatics.com on Tuesday, as was the $100 women’s white jersey.
