No Health Insurance, but Think You are Sick with Covid 19 Here's How to Get Help

If you don’t have health insurance, but you feel sick and worry you might have Covid-19, there is help for you!

CommUnityCare Health Centers, part of Central Health, offers the only COVID 19 testing site in Travis county open to anyone regardless of whether they have insurance or an established provider.

If you do not have insurance and are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, call the Covid-19 Hotline: 512-978-8775

Do you have symptoms that include shortness of breath, fever and a dry cough? Then call the Covid-19 Hotline first for guidance before visiting the CommUnityCare Hancock drive-through testing site, located at 1000 E 41st Street. They are open 8am - 4pm Monday – Friday, and 9am - 1pm on Saturday and Sunday.  Limited testing is available each day, so please remember to call the hotline before you go to the testing site.

If you are among the many Travis County residents who have lost their jobs, their income and their health insurance, Central Health is here to help you.  They can answer any health care questions you have.
