Join us in helping the Salvation Army of Austin as we raise $1 Million for the 2026 Day Of Giving!
The annual Day of Giving is the Salvation Army Austin’s biggest fundraiser and an opportunity for Central Texas to help support families and individuals facing homelessness, financial distress, and unexpected hardship. Every donation helps provide shelter, warm meals, homelessness prevention through rent and utility assistance, and other resources to facilitate pathways to permanent housing.
The goal is to raise $1,000,000 to provide the critical resources needed to help families regain self-sufficiency.
Inspired by their Christian mission, The Salvation Army Austin is the largest nonprofit provider of family emergency shelter in Central Texas. The Salvation Army Austin’s operates two shelters, The Austin Shelter for Women and Children and The Rathgeber Center for Families.
- The Austin Shelter for Women and Children serves single women and mothers with their children.
- The Rathgeber Center for Families prioritizes keeping families together, including fathers, as they work to rebuild.
