A mother choosing between paying an electric bill or giving her child a Christmas gift is a heartbreaking choice, and that's why Majic 95.5 is asking our listeners to help keep the Christmas spirit alive this year by donating to The Salvation Army Angel Tree program.

Angel Tree Program Works Christmas Magic | Salvation Army

The Angel Tree program provides Christmas assistance to families in need in Travis and Williamson counties. There are many ways you can help!

·    You can adopt Angels at Barton Creek and Lakeline mall at our Angel Trees beginning Nov. 6 by filling an Angel Tree bag with gifts chosen for that specific child. Gifts are then distributed to parents in time for Christmas

·    Your company can host a toy drive to make sure every Angel has a wonderful Christmas.

·    You can also adopt Angels online at salvationarmyaustin.org

·    It’s a busy time of year, so you can easily make a donation to the Angel Tree Program by clicking the Donate Now button in red above, and the Salvation Army can do the shopping for your angel!

·    You can donate your time by volunteering to help at the Angel Tree Warehouse

Your financial gifts are very important to The Salvation Army Austin because they rely on them to fill requests for Forgotten Angels, which are those not fulfilled before December 6th.

It takes $120 to supply each child with clothing and toys so please give as generously as you are able. Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. With the support of donors like you, more than 7,000 children in the Austin area will find gifts waiting under their Christmas trees through the Angel Tree program.

And remember, all donations made online stay local to help families in Travis and Williamson counties. Thank you for your support!
