Sometimes it doesn't feel quite safe to pull over to the side of the road when you see some lovely bluebonnets. Or, you happen upon a great spot but don't really have the time to stop and take some pics. Here are a few places you can map out ahead of time and make a plan to go take some photos.
Loop 360 (Capitol of Texas Hwy) near the Bridge
Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center: 4801 La Crosse Avenue
Park Hill: 900 S MoPac Express Way
Brushy Creek Lake Park: 3300 Brushy Creek Road, Cedar Park
Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail: 1715 Cesar Chavez Street
If it seems to you like the bluebonnets were early this year that is true. Though the experts say they were really only about 2 weeks early even though it might have felt like more.
