Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman took a step away from the band back in January to get his mental health in order. He promised that it would only be temporary and today, he made good on that promise!

Trohman originally posted a note from the band explaining that he needed to take a break away from the band for the sake of his mental health. He wrote, “I can tell you unequivocally that burning out is dreadful. Without divulging all the details, I must disclose that my mental health has rapidly deteriorated over the past several years."
But he's back now.
In an Instagram post, Trohman announced that he is officially ending his hiatus. He wrote in his caption, “hey everyone, I’m officially back! I want to thank everyone for the love and support while I took some time away to focus on my brain and get healthy for my family, my friends and myself."
And thankfully, he's back just in time for the band's massive So Much For (Tour) Dust summer tour kicking off in Chicago on June 21. Check out the full list of dates here.
