Julie Frates, wife of Ice Bucket Challenge Hero Pete Frates, joined us on the show today to discuss the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge event for the public in honor of her late husband on Friday July 30, 2021, at 2 pm at the green space on the Seaport Common. Julie was kind enough to share with us how she's doing, how her daughter is handling fame, and what we can expect on Friday.
The event will officially kick off Ice Bucket Challenge month in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which begins on August 1st. Kennedy will be hosting - hope to see you there!
