Tara works at the Plouffe Middle School in Brockton MA. They are an inner city school and many students come from broken homes with single parent income. They are unable to afford the tools necessary to support their educational needs. In addition to this issue, many have been through traumatic experiences, past and present. Now they are dealing with dysregulation due to the trauma in their lives. Tara makes sure every kid gets to experience things like Thanksgiving dinner, corned beef on St. Patrick's Day, and cookies during the holidays. Clear her list HERE!
Stephanie teaches sixth grade at a small Boston Public School and could really use our help! Our sixth grade is off-site at a YMCA down the block because our main building does not have space for us (or for a gym or library!).
