Clearly Addison Rae did not come to play at the 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards. Well, technically she came to present the award for Best Kiss, but we’ll get to that later. Right now lets talk about that show-stopping look, that we haven’t stopped thinking about since the moment she stepped on the red carpet. A low-waisted, long black skirt with a silver chain belt wrapped around her stomach, a sheer black bandeau bra and a black blazer.

Okay, so as we mentioned before Addison was there to present the award for Best Kiss with her He's All That co-star Tanner Buchanan. Usually it’s the winners of the award that lock lips, however in honor of shamelessly plugging their upcoming film, Addison and Tanner went in themselves and the Internet was not here for it. The presenters obviously kissed on stage, again, this is purely promotional, so no need to panic. Except that’s exactly what the internet did, but not for the reasons you might think.
It took about 3.2 seconds for Twitter to go off and proceeded to roast poor Addison & Tanner. No but like seriously, Addison's name has been trending for hours, and the replies on the MTV’s tweet claiming their undeniable chemistry are kind of amazing.

As for the winners of the award, that would OBX co-stars and IRL couple Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes, who also smooched on stage, because duh it’s tradish. Clearly planned, but still hella cute, the two took to the stage to accept their golden popcorn awards. While there, Chase got a bit flustered, forgetting who he wanted to thank, and that’s when Maddie went full method and got all OBX Sarah, and told Chase to shut up before kissing him. The whole moment was as red hot as Chase’s suit, but honestly the best part might have been that the Walmart version of them was standing right there as if it was a lesson to see how it’s actually done.
