After starting off reminiscing about her early days from singing on the So So Def Christmas album in the 90s, to fully debuting in the early 2000s, Alicia moved on to discuss something more recent, her current Keys To The Summer Tour.

Describing it as, “my first 360 show I’ve ever done. So you gonna be in the round with me, and everybody has a front row seat.” Going on to add, “I’ve never been able to touch people like I can touch them on this tour. The way that you visually get to experience this show is just crazier than anything I’ve ever done.”

As it this year is the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop, Alicia answered some Audacy Hip-Hop Made rapid fire questions, including what was the first song that made her fall in love with Hip-Hop? And what was the first Hip-Hop song she memorized top to bottom?

Pretty much anything from the Wu-Tang Clan helped Keys connect with the genre, but it was Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It” that had Alicia mesmerized and memorized.

The conversation only continued from there, listen to the entire interview above.
