Anne Douglas, the widow of late Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas, has died. She was 102.
Douglas passed away at her Beverly Hills home on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She married the “Spartacus” actor in 1954 and remained with him until his death on Feb. 5, 2020, at age 103.
The couple shared two sons, Peter in 1955 and Eric in 1958. In 2004, Eric died of an accidental drug overdose at the age of 46.
Michael Douglas, who was Anne’s stepson, released a statement following her death.
"She brought out the best in all of us, especially our father," the Oscar winner said, per the outlet. "Dad would never have had the career he did without Anne's support and partnership. Catherine and I and the children adored her; she will always be in our hearts."
The matriarch's death comes just days after she turned 102 on April 23.
To celebrate the occasion, Michael shared a throwback photo alongside his late father, Anne, wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, and their two children.
"Happy Birthday Anne Douglas! We love you! ❤️ Michael, Catherine, Carys, & Dylan," wrote the "Wall Street" actor on Instagram.
Douglas is survived by her son Peter, stepsons Michael and Joel; daughters-in-law Catherine and Lisa; grandchildren Cameron, Dylan, Carys, Kelsey, Tyler, Jason and Ryan; great-grandchildren Lua Izzy and Ryder; and sister Merle.
