Led by breakout single “APT.” with Bruno Mars, and vulnerable ballad “number one girl,” rosie’s 12-track collection marks the singer’s “most personal and candid output to date,” per the official press release. The statement also credits ROSÉ for co-writing and executive producing the project in its entirety.

Alongside the album drop, ROSÉ unveiled her third single, “toxic till the end,” accompanied by a new Ramez Silyan-directed music video co-starring Evan Mock.

BLINKs have been waiting for rosie to drop since October 1, when ROSÉ first announced the album’s arrival. “I have poured my blood and tears into this album,” she wrote in the announcement post’s caption at the time. “I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine. Rosie – is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me.”

Opening up about the album in the lead up to it’s arrival, ROSÉ shared how she was up for the challenge of being vulnerable during the album’s writing process. Revealing in a recent interview that the album’s first track, “number one girl” was inspired by a sleepless night during which the singer couldn’t stop fixating about people’s online opinions about her. As well as alluding to Zane Lowe during a sit down last month, that Track 7, “gameboy,” is about all about an ex she also couldn't stop thinking about. “I’d never like the person to know about it, but I would talk about [them] so much,” she told Lowe. “I needed to get it off my chest.”
