Jason Momoa shows off some serious dance moves in a new commercial.
Momoa joined “Scrubs” stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison for a T-Mobile Super Bowl in promotion for the brand’s new at-home internet service by recreating the legendary “Flashdance” movie scene, popularized by actress Jennifer Beals.
In this updated version, Momoa does the singing, dancing, and getting doused by water.
“People are just seeing a different side of me,” the “Aquaman” actor told Variety about the advertisement. The action star told the publication he enjoys commercial work because he gets to be funny.
Braff and Faison return to the Super Bowl commercial space after doing another T-Mobile ad in 2023 with John Travolta. Braff said this return had to be even larger.
“It has to be bigger and better,” he said.
The pair also loved working with Momoa in the capacity.
“He was so fun, so high energy, in such a silly mood like we always are. I think it really shows,” Faison said. “It’s kind of like a rock musical in a lot of ways when he jumps on board.”
Momoa was most recently seen in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”
