Macaulay Culkin has come a long way since starring in “Home Alone” at the age of 10.

Now the 41-year-old actor is set to explore his “midlife crisis” in a new docuseries. [insert screaming face of Kevin McCallister here]
Culkin will star and produce a new travelogue series that will ponder the big life questions that come up as one gets older, reported Deadline.
The series, entitled “Macaulay Culkin's Midlife Crisis”, came about following the response the former child star received upon tweeting that it was his 40th birthday back in August 2020.
"Hey guys, wanna feel old? I'm 40. You're welcome,” Culkin wrote in the tweet, which later received 478.5K retweets and 3.1 million likes.
Among the questions the series will try to answer are: How should we embrace aging in a world obsessed with being young? What is midlife success and how do we quantify it? How to make sure unbridled passion isn’t relegated to our youth?
Culkin will executive produce the series alongside his manager Emily Gerson Saines and Lightbox co-founders Simon and Jonathan Chinn, who previously produced the HBO documentary “Tina.”
"Mack remains as iconic, and as loved as ever — a social media sensation, internet entrepreneur and a hard-working member of his pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band," the Chinns told Deadline in a statement.
"Despite his legendary status, like the rest of us, he's having to confront what it means to be a normal middle-aged guy, with a wife and a new kid who's soon going to be the same age he was when he became a massive global superstar. We are thrilled to be working through our mid-life crises with him on this exciting project!"
News of the series comes after Culkin welcomed his first child, son Dakota, with Brenda Song last year. In January, it was reported the couple had recently become engaged.
It is still unknown when or where “Macaulay Culkin’s Midlife Crisis” will premiere.
